Dear Ariel,
How are you? William, Ben, Amelia, Ryan, Geeta, and I have been discussing the prospects of Cultures in Harmony returning to Mexico next summer. The time we spent with the students at Cultural Center Ollin Yolitzli was wonderful, and if you are able to have us back, we will work very hard to make this possible!
We are in the process of compiling a portfolio that will include recordings, photos, a description of Cultures in Harmony's work in Mexico, and testimonials of our partner organizations and participants. We will send this document to the Mexican Embassy in New York and other potential donors to advertise and raise funds for our activities in Mexico. I'm wondering if you can please contribute to this document in the following ways:
Would you be able to write a letter on behalf of Cultures in Harmony? In the letter, it would be great if you could briefly describe this past summer's project, the benefits of the exchange between Cultures in Harmony and the Youth Orchestras of Cultural Center Ollin Yolitzli, and reasons why you think Cultures in Harmony's return to Mexico would be valuable.
Something else that would strengthen the portfolio would be to have 8-10 students from the youth orchestra to write letters describing their personal experiences with Cultures in Harmony, important ideas that they learned from the workshops, memorable moments, and why they would like to continue this collaboration.
It would be very effective if these letters were signed and sent to us by mail. You can send them to:

Please let me know if this is a possibility. Remember that we are also open to any ideas or suggestions that you have! I will never forget your incredible hospitality and support throughout our time in Mexico City. I have many great memories from the trip, and am hopeful that we will work with you again!
Sincerely,
Andrew Roitstein
